Artist, Art Therapy, Psychotherapy and Belief Statement

I believe all people have the need and ability to create. Using various art and therapy methods I provide a safe and empathetic environment, to encourage life-enhancing expression that brings wholeness, physically, emotionally and spiritually to people's life.

How's this for a Zentangle? It is on a quilt I created called "Pink is it". It was shown at the Oshawa Fibre Art Show, 2010.

Happy New Year! Here's to Growth

Today is the 3rd day of 2011. On New Year's Eve, my friends and I excitedly marked the beginning of a new year. 2010 was full of peaks and valleys. 2011 is welcome to bring on new ventures and hopefully more peaks than valleys.
As I was looking back through pictures from the past month, I realised how much has happened in so little a time, and despite challenges, the time has been one of growth. Without trying new ventures, nothing is gained. It is with learning new skills and experiencing challenges that we growth. I don't want to remain stagnant. And I don't believe I have. So here is to more growth in the New Year. As many Quiltart forum pals share their word for the New Year - here is mine "growth."
Here are photos of the last days of 2010. Enjoy!
